The food is great, I would say one of the best in northern NH/VT, service was pleasant and patient and the food arrived at the table surprisingly quickly. The guacamole here is incredible and the chips came out hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend giving them a try if you're in the area and love good Mexican food.

If you're ever in the Newport, VT area, America's Taco Shop is a must. I've been eating here ever since they opened, then moved away. On my recent visit to Vermont, after being away for a few years, I could not wait to sink my teeth into one of America's burritos. I ordered a Mexicali Burrito, and other members of my family ordered the Carne Asada Bowl, Carne Asada Chips, and California Burrito. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and truly enjoyed the hospitality, Especially after being away for so long, and to be remembered and treated like family, it's certainly a rare thing in today's world. Thank you America, my entire family appreciates you; until our next visit to Vermont.

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a good time. The menu was super descriptive (helpful for a picky husband) and the choices were overwhelming in the sense that I couldn't decided what to eat: it all sounded amazing. I got the adobo pork tacos, husband got a quesadilla, and my daughter got flautas. As soon as we got the food, I knew this was as authentic as it could get. My mother from Chihuahua was surprised when I told her about the amazing food we got in VERMONT. I was beat to the punch. I wanted to bring some Mexican cuisine to Vermont, but you guys win! The most delicious food I have had in a very long time. I felt at home. Like my mom would pop out of the kitchen. Thank you so much for such a wonderful trip down memory road. I hope everyone comes here and gets the full experience. Also, I got two red salsas which meant I got to bring some home for breakfast the next morning. Again, thank you and keep up the great work! Who knew you could get authentic and delicious Mexican food in the NEK? America did because she provided it! The staff is always friendly and kind. And the fish tacos are out of this wold (wed. and fri. only). Just the best burritos I have ever eaten! If you need Mexican, go here now!

The food is pretty good and the portion sizes are generous for the price you pay

We decided to stop and try the tacos here. I got the grilled chicken and grilled steak tacos on flour tortillas. They were amazing! Tortillas are so fresh and homemade. Husband got the grilled streak bowl. Again very fresh and delicious! The Mexican street corn is a must try! Will def be back to try other menu items. The food is fresh and tasty!

Great food and great people working there. I order the carnasada and frys every time and never am disappointed.
